About Me
As a senior copywriter, I´ve created and helped manage brand advertising, direct marketing, B2B and corporate communications. To prove it, I have awards, great friendships, lots of war stories, a few scars and (maybe) a little wisdom.
Work History
RCN, Senior Copywriter, 2008 – Present
Currently, I handle everything under the sun for a growing cable company in six major markets: DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley. My projects span direct mail, print ads, outdoor, TV, radio, web and whatever else we dream up.
Gannett Co., Inc., Senior Copywriter, 2006 – 2008
My duties were to create marketing materials for 80+ newspapers nationwide. Great people, tough gig—our department supported the print product, which was already in decline.
Brunner Advertising, Senior Copywriter, 2003 – 2006
Here, I had the pleasure of teaming up with a group of insanely talented people and creating work that caught the eye of more than a few awards judges. Our clients included Pittsburgh Corning, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Nextel, Capital One, AARP and the DC Chamber of Commerce.
MHI Communications, Senior Copywriter, 2000 – 2003
Much of my time at MHI was spent on the Roadrunner High-Speed Online account (Time-Warner Cable) during the early days of home Internet usage. It was non-stop hectic and kept our agency afloat during the previous recession. We also produced B2B and B2G for Microsoft, Siemens and other tech leaders.
Loughlin Creative, Copywriter, 1998 – 2000
My first agency job. Did tons of direct mail and relationship marketing for Verizon Wireless, plus direct and brand work for Habitat for Humanity, First USA Bank and American Express.
